This paper describes a prototype of receiver applicable to Software Defined Radio. This prototype can be used for two RF architectures: zero-IF and low-IF. The receiver has been characterised and measured for both architectures. The results show that the low-IF architecture usually presents better performance than the zero-IF. For the low-IF architecture, the EVM is lower than 5% for input powers between -45dBm and -15dBm, and a 64-QAM modulation. | |
