Metamaterial transmission lines can be defined as artificial transmission lines that emulate the propagation phenomena in negative-refraction-index bulk media. The performance of such artificial transmission lines is determined by their unit cells. The characteristics and fundamental properties of two different families of unit cells are reviewed and compared. | |
