In the context of the career of Computer Science (Universidad Politecnica de Madrid), several experiments have been made in order to verify the influence of active learning methodologies in some generic competences. The improvement of students in two competences, ¿team work¿ and ¿planning and time management¿ have been measured by mean of two validated test. In this work, we analyse the improvement observed in students that have follow two different learning methodologies: cooperative learning and project based learning. The analysis of the results does not show significant changes in student abilities. So, we describe the possible reasons that explain this lack of improvement. | |
