\n We are a group of 17 people \u00bfresearchers, technical staff, administrative staff and trainee research staff\u00bf working in the agri-food and agri-environmental fields. Our staff are associated with the HTSE for Agronomy, Food and Biosystems and the HTSE for Mountains, Forestry and the Natural Environment. \n We are members of, and coordinate, the AGRISOST<\/a> consortium (Sustainable Agricultural Systems) which consists of seven research groups from various public research organisations (four of them from the UPM), two laboratories from the Laboratories Network and Community of Madrid infrastructures, seven companies from the fertiliser, seed and food sectors, five associate research groups and three national or regional agricultural associations. The research we carry out at the AGRISOST consortium seeks to provide suitable technology to develop the agriculture of the future, with high levels of plant-based food production and quality, high input efficiency and minimum impact on the environment.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

\n Some members of the group also take part in the Fertibera Chair for agri-environmental studies<\/a> with the aim of encouraging fertilisation that respects the environment and contributes to competitive, sustainable agriculture.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n
