We are also part of the Global Change and New Energy at the Moncloa IEC<strong>.<\/strong>\n                <\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify; line-height: normal;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">Our varied basic academic training (industrial, mines and chemical engineering, degrees in environmental sciences, geology and chemistry) enable us to address a wide variety of projects aimed at the industrial sector. We also have an environmental modelling laboratory including three clusters consisting of 48 PCs and 64 processors. <br\/>\n                <\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">In the field of environmental modelling, we are a part of RETEMCA (Iberian Thematic Network for Atmospheric Pollution Modelling) which includes researchers and developers of air quality models from various universities and research centres.<\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">Our aim is to continue working on the university\/company\/society collaboration, using knowledge and abilities to achieve beneficial results in improving the quality of life. Within this commitment, some projects stand out, such as TECNAIRE, funded by the Community of Madrid, OPTIMISING WASTE MANAGEMENT, funded by the National Plan under the Challenges tender, and PHOTOSCALING, funded by the LIFE+2013 programme.
