To do so, and in all its fields, the group has benefited from synergies with private companies (Maxam, Vibraquipo and mines, such as Aguas Te\u00f1idas, Cobre las Cruces, Saint Gobain Placo Ib\u00e9rica, etc.) and researchers from other institutions in Spain and abroad (CSIC - Spain; Kerala University - India; Cambridge University - UK; and Leoben University - Austria, etc.). The international nature of the group is reflected in the research stays made, the review of articles in scientific journals, and membership of international associations in management posts.<\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\"\/>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">The group's work has been recognised with several distinctions, such as: Presidency of the Fragblast International Committee (2012); IGME (Spanish Geology and Mining Institute) Award for the best article by a young doctorate, vol. 123 (2012); Award for the best article from the International Society of Explosives Engineers, ISEE (2015).<\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\"\/>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">It has two laboratories, one for explosives and the other for rock mechanics. The explosives laboratory has the technology needed to profile blasts and detonation physics, covering from profiling, with field tests and measurements, to phenomena simulation.
