The different training of our doctorates and doctoral students (telecommunications, materials and industrial engineers, and physicists and chemists) means we can do extensive interdisciplinary work, with high scientific quality and a vocation to serve the industry. The ISOM-ICTS has 400 m2 of clean rooms, 300 m2 of profiling laboratories with centralised air conditioning, and 200 m2 of instrumentation and electronics laboratories. It offers is technology, processing and profiling services to the Spanish scientific and technology community, and to international centres worldwide.<\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">We have material growth equipment (molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) systems; plasma-enhanced chemical vapour deposition (PE-CVD) for two-dimensional crystals; sputtering for piezoelectrics); optical and electron beam lithography; wet and dry attack systems (RIE and ICP); Joule and electron beam metallisers; and chemical chambers, etc. We have specific laboratories for IR and UV optical profiling (anti-vibration tables, lasers and spectrographs), structural profiling (field-effect scanning electro microscope with cathodoluminescence, atomic force microscope, and X-Ray diffraction), and electric profiling (network analysers, high temperature, high pressure and power).<\/span>\n            <\/p>\n            <p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n                <span\n                        style=\"font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;\">We are part of the international NANOFUTURES technology platform, the MERIL portal, the CAM national laboratories network in infrastructures, and other networks with Nanotechnology capabilities. We are members of the<strong> MONCLOA INTERNATIONAL EXCELLENCE CAMPUS<\/strong> (<a\n                        href=\"http:\/\/www.campusmoncloa.es\/es\/clusteres\/materiales-para-el-futuro\/\" title=\"Materials for the Future\">Materials for the Future<\/a> and New Energy clusters). Our aim is to take a qualitative leap in the university\/business\/society collaboration, projecting the knowledge, skills and results generated so that they become a source of progress.
