\n We are a group of 20 people with extensive experience in the field of video processing, artificial vision and digital television. Our teaching and research work is carried out at the Signals, Systems and Radiocommunications (SSR) department at the Higher Technical School for Telecommunications Engineers<\/a> where we have a Laboratory of audiovisual media<\/em> that covers the production and content broadcast chain. \n The group collaborates and works on different projects with many companies, research groups and universities. With regard to companies, it is worth highlighting, for example, the joint activities carried out for some time now with RTVE, which have given rise to the creation, this year, of the RTVE Chair<\/em> at the HTSET-UPM.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

\n Our research work has a clear international projection, which is evident from the eight European projects we are currently taking part in. When it comes to teaching, the group offers several subjects, including within our lines of research, for carrying out the End of Degree Project, End of Masters Project or Final Year Project.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

\n Knowledge transfer to society is a matter we are particularly preoccupied with and we are deeply involved in. Therefore, we have developed three patents, six registered software packages, and an app for editing video on mobile phones which has having huge impact worldwide.
