\n There are 30 of us \u00bfprofessors, researchers, technical staff and trainee research staff\u00bf who, for more than fifteen years, have been working every day with the main aim of improving quality of life, by using technology, of healthy people, and also those with some kind of chronic illness or disability, throughout their lifetimes.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n

\n Our group has a unique facility at the service of research and society, Smart House<\/em>, a Living Lab with a 3D Visualisation and advanced Multi-modal Interaction infrastructure which, on the one hand, enables rapid prototyping and personalisation of health services in a virtual reality environment and, on the other, assessment and testing of the various products and prototypes with real users in a friendly environment.<\/span>\n <\/p>\n
