\n The ICTG was created in 1994 with the mission of contributing to the research, knowledge and diffusion of these technologies, as well as their social, economic and political impact. In 2008, the Group expanded to include other professors whose lines of research were carried out in different fields relating to fixed, mobile or broadcasting radio communications, with particular emphasis on <\/span>\n \n Mobile communications<\/span>\n <\/span>\n and<\/span>\n \n Propagation<\/span>\n <\/span>\n of radio waves. This enabled the field for addressing challenges to be broadened and projects with a multi-disciplinary perspective. \n <\/span>\n <\/p>\n

\n The Group has a significant impact at national and international level, taking part in numerous forums and advising regulatory bodies and companies. Three significant international projects that the group has taken part in over the past few years stand out:<\/p>\n

- ARIADNE: Project funded by 5G-PPP with the aim of researching the use of D band in future communications systems, using RIS and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

- LaScaMod: Project funded by ESA researching the use of Q\/V bands for next generation satellite communications, including smart Gateways into the networks.<\/p>\n

- 5G-VINNI: Project funded by 5G-PPP researching the application of 5G networks for specific vertical sectors.<\/p>","contenido":"","pictures":"","descripcion":"

The Group's R&I work is carried out in the field of Information and Communications Technology and focusses, on the one hand, on its political, social and economic impact and, on the other, on fixed and mobile radiocommunications and radio broadcasting, with particular emphasis on Mobile Communications and Radio wave propagation.<\/p>","resultados_protegidos":"

The Group has a long track record of collaborating with national and international companies, taking part in joint projects or with research contracts. In Spain, it has collaborated with the main companies operating the telecommunications networks, with several equipment manufacturers and a multitude of SMEs, as well as some public bodies and other universities.<\/p>\n
