The IPTC is an R&D Centre in digital and communication technologies, created by the UPM from the experience of several recognised research groups in Electronics, Communications, Networks, Computing and SW. Its objective is to generate the ideal environment to face scientific challenges with a multidisciplinary perspective, in cooperation with companies and other entities, in order to generate technology of economic and social value. Every year, the Centre has more than 150 active competitive projects and another 50 with companies.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

For companies, institutions and other scientific-technological agents, the IPTC proposes itself as a strategic partner<\/strong> for research<\/strong> and technology transfer<\/strong> in different areas of digital technologies and advanced communications.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\r\n

In particular, the Centre fosters the search for opportunities in excellent research and innovation projects<\/strong> in areas in which it has a long track record, such as Connected Industry and Digital Transformation, Health, Defence and Space, Energy or Mobility and Smart Cities<\/strong>.
