In the last decade the Instituto de Energia Solar has become a specialist in the manufacturing of devices on different semiconductors (III-Vs, II-VIs) received from several Organizations and Institutions in the framework of national and international research projects.<\/p>\n<p>Our manufacturing service has the following capabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cleaning and etching: acids, organics, plasma asher, contact layer etching, mesa etching<\/li>\n<li>Metallization: lift-off, evaporation of n-type and p-type contacts<\/li>\n<li>Photolitography: Positive and negative resist, photolitography without mask<\/li>\n<li>Rapid thermal annealing<\/li>\n<li>Device encapsulation<\/li>\n<li>Wire bonding<\/li>\n<li>Dicing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<div>\n<h4>Needs and applications covered<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Processing of semiconductors for companies and other research centers.<\/li>\n<li>Developing of suitable processing methods for third generation solar cells.<\/li>\n<li>Consultancy on processing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h4>Sector&nbsp;<\/h4>\n<div>\n<p>Semiconductor materials in the photovoltaic, micro and nanoelectronics, optoelectronics industries.
