| The objective of this study is to examine the specific risks that organic farmers must manage due to the special features of management of their productive system. The study analyzes their risk aversion, the vulnerability of their farms against different sources of risk and risk management tools available. This research also tries to study the economic results by a long term profitability analysis comparing organic and conventional farming systems in order to insight which is the most economic choice for farmers in each case. | |
