Power-State Control Methods for a Battery State-of-Charge Dependent Graceful Degradation in an ARM-bases Embedded System.

Abstract
In this paper, an initial research to achieve a graceful degradation in a low-battery scenario of an ARM-based multimedia embedded system is presented. Methods to control the power-state of the main devices of the platform have been implemented. A test-bench to measure the power saved has been carried out. The results have shown that a power save of up to 37% can be achieved.
