Abstract
The objective of this contribution is to study the influence of Hf partial substitution by Ti in the perovskite-type crystalline structure of PbHfO3 through the changes of the hyperfine parameters measured by Perturbed Angular Correlation spectroscopy (PAC) at room temperature. Samples of PbTi(1-x)HfxO3 with compositions x=0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 have been prepared using the high temperature solid state reaction procedure. The dependece of the hyperfine parameters on composition shows that the quadrupolar frequency strongly diminishes when some Hf cations replace Ti (x<0.25), is almost constant for 0.25
