Wireless sensor networks (WSN) have been used in a wide range of scenarios due to their low energy demand and price. Archeological sites and museums are specially demanding low energy and low cost strategies and instrumentation for a long term monitoring since environmental conditions are taken into consideration for a preventive conservation of the built heritage, in which the microclimatic analysis is an imperative. The present paper introduces a pioneering assessment of WSN implementation in Complutum archeological site and museum. | |
