Abstract
This paper presents a novel application of a combined method based on the Finite Element Method supplemented by the electric field expansions on spherical harmonics. In particular, the method has been successfully applied to the fast analysis of fuselage shapes for aircrafts and satellite platforms such as the case of the ESA project MMAS- Miniaturized Multipurpose Antenna System.
