Abstract
In this work the Orthogonal Matching Pursuit algorithm is applied to a spherical-wave field synthesis method previously proposed by the authors for thinning planar arrays of real (non-isotropic) antennas. It will be shown that it works very well even for the overdetermined system provided by the spherical-wave field synthesis method
