| The main goal of this project is to determine if a product in validation process has a beneficial effect in plant virus infection. This product consists on a microbial substance known to have improved plant fitness during bacterial infection processes. The way to reach that goal is designing several experiments to determine how the product is working and in which points it could be beneficial for crops. These experiments include differential detection and quantification of viruses and also the determination of different parameters that are involved in physiological functions of the plant. After all the experimental work, it is fully essential to develop a well-detailed statistical analysis. In this case, the viruses of study are CMV (Cucumber mosaic virus) and TMGMV (Tobacco mild green mosaic virus). | |
