The manufacturing industry is recently showing a tendency to merge with information and telecommunication technology. The emerging concept of smart manufacturing is defined in part by the introduction of new technologies that are promoting rapid and widespread information flow within the manufacturing system and surrounding its control [1]. A number of developed and developing countries are accelerating their strategic plan for smart and optimal manufacturing. The ?US Smart Manufacturing Leadership Coalition? presented the ?Smart Process Manufacturing roadmap, a framework and route to implement smart process manufacturing in the 21st century? [2]. Germany has proposed the concept of smart manufacturing to realize the fourth industrial revolution, that is, Industry4.0?arevolution that deeply integrates information and communication technology with manufacturing technology and aims to achieve seamless integration and cooperation among products, equipment, humans, and organizations | |
