| Following the success of the congresses in Madrid (2003) and Cambridge (2006), the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus invites scholars, engineers and the interested public from all over the world to the Third International Congress on Construction History in May 2009. Cottbus, the congress venue, is a university town 100 km southeast of Berlin. The region offers unique remains of its industrial heritage from the 18th century onwards. Transcending the constraints of traditional cultural and disciplinary boundaries, the Cottbus Congress will be open to contributors associated with all disciplines focussed on and around the worldwide movement of construction history. The Congress will offer an open forum for presenting the broad field of construction history. | |
