An adaptive algorithm for the removal of baseline wander in ECG is presented. The scheme is based on a single-tap LMS filter that estimates the baseline signal. The baseline is further processed by a moving average filter. This way, reduced distortion of P-Q and S-T segments is achieved with a low computational cost. Moreover, the proposed system has a short impulse response that makes it appropriate for real-time applications. | |
