A comprehensivestudyisperformedinordertoassessthepertinenceoffissionchamberscoatedwith differentfissilematerialsforhighneutronfluxdetection.Threeneutronscenariosareproposedtostudy the fastcomponentofahighneutronflux:(i)highneutronfluxwithasignificantthermalcontribution such asBR2,(ii)DEMOmagneticfusionreactor,and(iii)IFMIFhighfluxtestmodule. In thisstudy,theinventorycodeACABisusedtoanalyzethefollowingquestions:(i)impactof differentdepositsinfissionchambers;(ii)effectoftheirradiationtime/burn-upontheconcentration; (iii) impactofactivationcross-sectionuncertaintiesonthecompositionofthedepositforalltherange of burn-up/irradiationneutronfluencesofinterest.Thecompletesetofnucleardata(decay,fission yield, activationcross-sections,anduncertainties)providedintheEAF2007datalibraryareusedforthis evaluation. | |
