| The doctoral thesis develops a model to explain the impact of information technology and communication (ITC) over the occupancy rate average of the hotel companies in the Yucatán peninsula in Mexico. The research was carried out in 3, 4 and 5 star hotels of the more important cities in Mérida (Yucatán), Ciudad del Carmen (Campeche) and Cancún ((Quintana Roo). A sample of 198 hotel companies was used. | |
