| Third generation of the EUCLIDES concentrator has been developed in the framework of IDEOCONTE Project for two levels of concentration: 20X and 40X. Key components, including mirrors, heat sinks, receivers and structure have been reviewed and designs, materials and sizes have been effectively modified. Three prototypes have been manufactured and installed at three different test sites located in Widderstall (Germany), Ferrara (Italy) and Madrid (Spain). EUCLIDES 20X and EUCLIDES 40X have been modelled with initial first results in order to predict annual production. After five months of monitoring, field performance of 40X level is better than 20X.
