Abstract
Project Complexity and Complexity in Project Management are concepts whose interest is growing. In the first part of this research we conceptualize the omplexity in Project Management from different dimensions and characterize the evolution of the term to-date. The second part deals with the existing tools for analysis and assessment of Complexity in Project Management. The methodology we developed consists of a theoretical research, in order to know how current the subject matter actualy is and its evolution over time. After the analysis and development of international standards and trends, this research proposes Social Complexity as a third dimension for management of complex projects.
