The incorporation of innovation in software development can provide a clear value in both, the software product and/or the development process. Software architectures are considered one of the main drivers of innovation in software products; whereas agile methodologies are presented as the perfect framework to support the continuous process of fast innovation in which innovation can emerge at any time. Therefore, agile architectures facilitare innovation in software products. In addition, innovation is based on Jeaming and the new knowledge derived from this Jearning. Hence, it requires the management of this knowledge to be used as an input/assistance of adding innovation in agile software products. In this paper, we propose a tailored SCRUM to take into accou nt the generation and acquisition of Innovation Knowledge. This proposal is based on a base line model to manage the innovation knowledge of software architectures. As a result, this work provides an assistance of the agile architecting process by stressing the innovation value that software architectures can potentially deliver.
