Porous silicon flakes (PSF) have been obtained from meso porous silicon layers by anodization in a multi-step current process. These porous silicon flakes (PSF) can be tailored with magnetic properties by hybridization with Fe oxide nanoparticles to obtain magnetic porous silicon flakes. In this hybridization the magnetic nanoparticles are attached inside and over the porous structure. Moreover the hybridization process allows the control of the magnetic load and thus the dynamic and hidrodynamic properties of the particles. The press of the PSF against the surface of a magnet is uniformly distributed. Besides the PSF have demonstrated to be highly biocompatible in in Vitro studies with human mesechymal stem cells beyond one week. | |
