Abstract

| This report tries to determine the actual yield of the explosion, i.e., the amount of material that contributed to the blast. It is fully based on the data furnished by the investigation carried out by MAXAM, comprising: - Report of the effects on nearby houses (all of which had been, with best judgment, evacuated) and the machinery that had been left on-site. - Report on the mass and range of fragments recovered. - Record of a seismograph that was installed in one of the nearby houses. A video recorded by people watching from the distance has also been studied. | |
