The system used is based on laser tracking technology for objects and people. The validation and reliability of a tracking system in the race of athletes is an accurate non-invasive tool and is proposed as an alternative method of knowing velocities and accelerations. Follow-up procedures were done with athletes running in a straight line over distances of 30, 50 and 100 m. The system proved to be reliable for monitoring the speed and trajectory of athletes. | |
