| INSIGHT-7FP (2013-2016) aims to investigate how ICT, with particular focus on data science and complexity theory, can help European cities formulate and evaluate policies to stimulate a balanced economic recovery and a sustainable urban development. The main goals are to investigate how data from multiple sources can be used to understand urban development patterns, to develop enhanced spatial interaction and location models for retail, housing, transport and public services as well as visualization tools to support them, and to evaluate the outcomes through four case studies- the cities of Madrid, Barcelona, London and Rotterdam. | |
