The use of metal structures to cover large lights is commonly used due to its industrialization and ease of assembly, but it presents other disadvantages because it is a natural resource and the environmental problems derived from its mechanization. Due to the environmental costs involved, it is necessary to make a design that is tailored to each structure, so that it can take advantage of its maximum possibilities. Based on this idea, the objective of the work is to compare the amount of material on trusses Pratt and Warren type, when they are subjected to different load values and with different types of joints, in order to optimize the amount of material that is necessary be used. | |
