Abstract
Dr. THOMAS W. KUYPER, Personal Professor (Fungal Ecology and Diversity) of the Department of Soil Quality, at Wageningen University, located on the campus of WU in Wageningen (The Netherlands), INVITED TO Dr. Luis G. García Montero (UPM) to made A SABBATICAL OR SCHOLARLY VISIT at the Department of Soil Quality (Group of Soil Biology) during three months of 2018 (from 15-June to 15-September). The WORK PLAN developed was: We discussed and developed some hypothesis about ?NICHE CONSTRUCTION BY ECTOMYCORRHIZAL AND SOIL ORGANISMS: CASES OF ECOLOGICAL ENGINEERING WITH HIGH INTEREST IN AGROFORESTRY AND DRYLANDS ECOSYSTEMS?. These hypotheses are related with (i) several publications including a paper on SCIENCE journal (indexed in the JCR or international book chapters), (ii) two European ?HORIZON 2020 project proposals? submitted in 2017 and 2018, and (iii) 2 projects on the ?Global Forest Survey? supported by FAO (2015; 2016) coordinated by Dr. Luis G.
