Abstract

| The European Network of Excellence (NoE) INFOBIOMED was created three years ago with the objective of consolidating a Biomedical Informatics (BMI) network of researches at European level in order to promulgate collaborative research in the area aimed to promote individualized healthcare. Organizations from different European countries have collaborated in the definition and development of four pilot projects oriented to demonstrate the benefits of applying novel BMI techniques in healthcare researches. Training of new experts has also been another crucial issue treated within the INFOBIOMED NoE. | |
