Recently, new behavioral model formulations, as X parameters, have been proposed to predict transistor/circuits non-linear behavior. They are an alternative approach to model non-linear behavior in CAD tools based directly on measured data, but they also provide for the possibility of extending analytical circuit analysis to the domain of non-linear circuits. In this paper there are proposed and experimentally validated closed-form expressions to compute the effect of adding a network series connection. These new expressions, based on X parameters, are very interesting since they provide the key component required for developing analytical circuit design procedures for feedback amplifiers and oscillators. | |
