Currently, the Teacher Degrees taught in Madrid do not offer a scientific specialization in some specific didactics, since the specialization mentions leave out fundamental curricular areas for the day-to-day classroom praxis, such as, in this case, case, the Didactics of Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences and Mathematics. Therefore, this Master's degree presents a clear scientific, academic, research and professional interest in these didactics, aiming to contribute to the improvement of teaching practice at any pre-university stage (Elementary, Primary and Secondary) and, in extension, to the formation of a critical citizenry and egalitarian for the resolution of the ecosocial, scientific and technological problems of the society of the present and the future, based on certain principles of interdisciplinary STEAM education. Finally, it is worth highlighting that the Master has specialized teaching staff and spaces suitable for innovation from both the UCM and the UPM.
