Presentation

The Master's Degree in Industrialisation, Prototyping and Architectural Design (MIPPA) is an official postgraduate programme of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM).

It depends on the Department of Architectural Projects (DPA) but has a transversal vocation and will also have professors from the departments of Structures, Construction and Mathematics.

It is a response to the demands and needs of our society in terms of architectural production and its relationship with contemporary industry.

It is a master's degree in applied research that trains architects to engage in professional practice linked to collaboration with industry and applied academic research.

It trains architects to exploit the synergies between three techniques - prototyping, industrialisation and the architectural project - that are not developed together during the disciplinary training in Architecture.
