The Industrial Electronics Centre IEC is a research center of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) created to generate knowledge and develop applications related to industrial electronics in cooperation with industrial partners. IEC activities are focused on electronic system designs, both analog and digital.
The research lines are related to power electronics, radio engineering and embedded systems. The center participates in numerous publicly funded competitive projects (H2020, ECSEL, RETOS Excelencia, RETOS Colaboración, RETOS Sociedad...). The IEC is recognized for the large number of direct collaborations with industry and its international projection.
