Announcement of results: The leaders of winning proposals will be contacted by email before 31 October The final results of the call will be publicly announced approximately two weeks thereafter.
Two UPM initiatives stood up in the previous EELISA Joint Call
The first one was held in June at the European Space Agency (ESA) facilities in Madrid: the EELISA Think Tank on Sustainable Buildings. This hackathon, organized by the EELISA SusBCC Community, brought together students from various academic disciplines to explore how buildings and infrastructure can be designed and managed more effectively, even in extreme contexts such as space.
The second funded proposal was the course "Challenges in geohydrological risk management: floods first response, modeling, and resilience in action." Coordinated by the EELISAWATER Community in an era of change, the second edition will be held in November at the ETSI Minas y Energía (Mines and Energy School) and will be held online to learn about the management of geohydrological risks that cause disasters near rivers, lakes, or coasts.
