Gap analysis and action plan
The path initiated by UPM, the first milestone on which was to carry out a survey aimed at all research staff and then develop a GAP Analysis and an Action Plan, made it possible to establish an internal analysis and agree on a series of actions and recommendations to align its human resources policies with the principles set out in the ‘European Charter for Researchers’ and the ‘Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers’.
UPM is committed to those goals and works to achieve them. And, to that end, it is going to collaborate with the Schools and Faculties, the Research Centres and Groups and the whole university community, in order to strengthen those measures. It is essential that we all implement this strategy, that we apply its criteria and guidelines and that we offer our critical and constructive views in order to improve them.
