| Perfil | Titulación: Doctor en ciencias o ingeniería Funciones: To develop biomedical products for the in-situ delivery of therapeutic compounds in a damaged tissue/organ, based on genetically engineered bacteria/cells, encapsulated in a biomaterial scaffold with rigorous control of local drug delivery based on the pathological environment signals within the patient (i.e., inflammation and/or reactive oxygen species). Application to therapies for diseases and organ regeneration under the framework of running projects (101099719-THOR-HORIZON-EIC-2022, MINA-CM P2022-BMD-7236). Experiencia: Experience in biomaterials/biological materials reflected in projects or publications of international relevance: biofunctionalization procedures for tissue engineering (chemical conjugation, AVS, etc.), production and processing of polymeric and natural biomaterial scaffolds, microstructural characterization and assessment of the interaction between cells and biomaterials in culture media and small animals. The candidate must be able to execute and control research and management tasks, supervising the pre-doctoral fellows assigned to them, and preparing the necessary reports and articles for the adequate justification and dissemination of information. Proficiency in the English language is required. |
